We are a web technology company that builds web applications and cloud computing software. We are looking for a junior to middle weight project manager to overlook, plan and coordinate our project work. The outline of the role is to manage the full life-cycle of the project, delivering to agreed budget and with appropriate methodologies, to successful completion.

The projects may be our own software products or projects for advertising agencies. They must be a logical thinker with an ability to see larger problems and situations as smaller components that can be resolved individually and in sequence to achieve the desired outcome, straddling the line between technical savvy and organisational skills well.

General responsibilities will include creating project documentation, track the project and finances, supervision and management of technical/production aspects of a project and liaise with clients and suppliers.

We are looking for a good verbal and written communicator, who is able to deal clearly and professionally with clients and internal project teams. You will be expected to communicate technology choices confidently to clients and manage their expectation, pusYou must possess excellent organisational skills, with an eye for detail, able to work efficiently with project management processes such as scheduling, costing and billing, display excellent numeric skills, ability to work with accounting systems and use spreadsheets with confidence.

Project Manager Profile (must have) 

• Logical, analytical and problem solving skills demonstrated in academic or work history 
• Interest in technology and experience in creative agency or software is highly regarded. 
• Requires 2-3 years project management in technical area, ideally software.  
• Account management experience in creative or software industry is beneficial 
• Must be able to coordinate and manage stake holders, delegate responsibilities, have great communication skills and be able to see the bigger picture.  
• We use an issue tracking system to manage all the required tasks so familiarity with such tools would be useful. 
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and be familiar with project management schematics and tools. 
• If the candidate has a technical background such as engineering or physics it would be a bonus.  
• Prince2 qualification would also be preferable but not essential.  

More about the position 

The position requires working with a team on exciting and challenging projects including working with big brand advertising agencies. Here we build their technical solutions or web applications for their clients. These may be complex information management systems or simpler web applications. We also have our own cloud computing software products in the market. For our products, we have a rigorous go to market strategy and deployment plan. We are a funky workshop; with a real market focus.  

Permanent 

This is a permanent position. The selection procedure will consist of two interviews at our London offices. Examples of work and qualifications maybe required prior to interview stage

Competitive Salary: £27 - 33k depending on experience, flexible working times and amazing office/location. Fun times to be had in a forward thinking team. Quarterly and monthly team events, good bonus scheme and private medical insurance are all included.
