We are looking for a free-lancer system administrator to take on several monthly retainers for customer in central London. These will require ad-hoc support and server administration for approximately 5 to 15 staff at each of the companies

This offers an excellent opportunity to add three good and reliable customers to grow a support business. Each customer will require around 4 hours per week average support. Site visits are rare, perhaps once every 3 months per customer.

Why are we looking for a supplier?

We have a number of customers who require support for their in-office servers, email systems and PCs. As we want our customers to have the best kit to use our web applications we would like to have them supported.

What skills are we looking for?

To provide support you and your team must be good communicators and capable of managing clients.

Availability during business hours, from 0900 to 1800 Monday to Friday is required and we would typically expect a response time of around 3 hours to a request.

The work will require expert knowledge for the following:

• Cloud services (e.g. Google Apps, Zoho, SalesForce)
• Mail migration
• Linux server administration
• Firewall administration
• Linux web server or LAMP environments for web hosting accounts
• DNS management
• Remote desktop support

On-site access may be required from time-to-time and therefore any candidate must be available during office hours and able to commit to a service level agreement.
