Overview
ByngRetailer is our e-commerce platform. Note that it is not simply an "online catalogue", nor is it just an "order management system", it is the whole lot!
This means the entire process, from customer capture, through browsing, product selection, checkout, order management, warehouse fulfilment, invoicing and supply chain management are as one, they feed off each other, updating information in a myriad ways to keep you, your warehouse and your customer seamlessly up to date.
The Platform
An oft-asked question is why is a platform needed? Surely the customer-facing part, the catalogue, is the most important part of any online retail system? Well, as a consultant would say, yes and no. There is little doubt that the catalogue is key to any online system, without it, there is no brand, there is nothing to entice the customer, and there is nothing to see! However, the key to e-commerce longevity and profitability is how the order is handled once the customer has placed it. This is where information flow becomes crucial which, fortunately, is something we're rather good at.
Our system allows your customers to access the most up to date information available through their account pages. This reduces the service obligation on your staff allowing them to concentrate on exceptional cases, customer queries and keeping your machine running.
